Comfortable, Discreet Treatment
Your Initial Consultation
We understand the impact orthodontics can have on your confidence and your oral health, which is why we take a personalized approach to care. Our team treats each and every case with the utmost consideration and is there to guide you throughout your treatment.
At our practice, we strive to perform the most conservative orthodontic treatment possible. Each case is carefully tailored to your unique needs.
During your initial appointment, we will review your unique concerns and expectations, as well as conduct a thorough evaluation at no charge. This may involve taking digital photographs and digital panoramic x-rays, which will help us identify underlying issues and plan your treatment.
After your assessment, we will take the time to review each of your treatment options, and our treatment coordinator can answer any additional questions you may have.
Common Concerns
Working individually or alongside other specialists, we can address several forms of malocclusion, including:
- An overbite
- A cross bite
- An underbite
- Overcrowding
- Gapped teeth
- Jaw misalignment
It is important to note that the jawbone is no longer developing in adult patients and is therefore less malleable than in children. While we will always recommend the most conservative treatment, surgery may be necessary to effectively address more extensive cases of misalignment.
Your Treatment Options
If you have mild to moderate malocclusion, you may be a candidate for Invisalign. Dr. Spokane is an Elite Provider of Invisalign, which places him in the top two percent of all providers. This innovative system can straighten your teeth more comfortably and more discreetly than traditional braces. The clear aligner trays are custom-crafted and gradually shift your teeth into their proper position. You can even preview your results using our iTero® digital system. Cases involving more extensive malocclusion may be better suited to traditional orthodontics, such as clear braces. For your convenience, we can often begin treatment on the same day as your consultation.
An Interdisciplinary Approach
As we age, we become more likely to develop conditions such as gum disease and tooth decay. In addition, misaligned teeth can become worn down or shift over time, impacting neighboring teeth. When left untreated, these issues can not only affect the health of your smile but also its appearance.
If you have missing teeth, require tooth extractions, or need periodontal care, we can coordinate with local dentists, surgeons, and periodontists to provide the comprehensive services you need. Dr. Spokane is also trained to perform orthodontics in conjunction with oral surgery and has an intimate knowledge of facial reconstruction.
Patient Financing
Orthodontic care can provide life-changing results and we never want patients to avoid treatment for financial reasons. At our practice, we accept several types of insurance and offer affordable payment plans to help cover out-of-pocket costs. You may qualify for nothing down and low-extended monthly payments through CareCredit®, or you can elect to pay for your treatment in full at the beginning and receive a discount. Our staff will work closely with you to develop a plan that suits your budget.
