Meet Dr. Melissa Karski
Dr. Karski is also native to Western Pennsylvania and proud to have graduated from Butler Area High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Penn State University and her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. She continued her education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and received both her Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Dental Science degree.
She is board-certified and actively involved in many professional organizations including the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Pitt Dental Alumni Board, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. She continuously keep herself up to date with the most current techniques in treatment as well as with new technology. She takes many continuing education courses throughout the year and strives to offer our patients the best, most comfortable and efficient treatment possible.
Her background in practicing orthodontics has created a vast amount of knowledge, as she has learned many techniques and methods of treatment from several orthodontists she has associated with since graduating in 2015, both in private practice and corporate practice. She also served as clinical faculty at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine department of Orthodontics.
Her life outside of the office is dedicated to her husband Matt, and her four children Arabella, Jack, Savannah, and Beckham. They currently reside in Connoquenessing Township where she grew up and are so thankful to be close to both of their extended families.
