The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that all children see an orthodontist by age 7 and we couldn't agree with that more! Early Treatment in Orthodontics can be extremely important in cases where skeletal change is necessary. Common bite problems, such as overbites, underbites, crossbites, and are most effectively treated when a child is growing and developing. Once permanent teeth have all erupted, it is often too late to correct bite issues where skeletal space is limited.
At the age of six most children will see their first set of permanent molars erupt in the back of their mouth. At this age, the adult teeth under the gums have also developed enough for a trained orthodontist to evaluate for potential problems. Most children do not require early treatment but for those who do, it makes a world of difference.

Directions
Our office is located in a small plaza right off of Rt 228 near I-79 and I-76. Turn at the light and then make a right at the large sign and go to the stop sign in the parking lot. Go left all the way to the end.
