Catering to Our Younger Patients
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that all children see an orthodontist by age 7 and we couldn't agree with that more! Early Treatment in Orthodontics can be extremely important in cases where skeletal change is necessary. Common bite problems, such as overbites, underbites, crossbites, and are most effectively treated when a child is growing and developing. Once permanent teeth have all erupted, it is often too late to correct bite issues where skeletal space is limited.
At the age of six most children will see their first set of permanent molars erupt in the back of their mouth. At this age, the adult teeth under the gums have also developed enough for a trained orthodontist to evaluate for potential problems. Most children do not require early treatment but for those who do, it makes a world of difference.
We strongly believe the entire treatment experience should be enjoyable for kids and their families! We have a video game station in our reception room and offer a variety of games, contests, and promotions that are fun for everyone. To encourage your child's commitment to their oral health, we also offer a Patient Reward System. Young patients who maintain a proper hygiene regimen, stay up-to-date on their orthodontic visits, and use our app for extra fun and activities can accumulate points. Points can then be cashed in for gift cards to local restaurants and stores as well as popular online retailers.
Modern Technology for Adults
We also utilize the digital advances in health care and share the benefits with our patients! Photos, x-rays, records, and more can be accessed online through a secure Patient Portal unique to each patient. Appointments can be tracked and confirmed online and you can receive correspondence from our office how it is most convenient for you.
Our digital X-Ray machine is the latest in dental imaging providing safe, accurate and detailed results. Our digital scanners provide 3D imaging and create comprehensive models of your teeth on screen in minutes. These 3D models are quickly and easily transferred to our 3D printer, all right in our own lab. No. More. Molds.
All of these advancements in technology make treatment easier for everyone while providing optimal results.
